For reasons that surpass understanding, the Twin Cities Media Alliance has asked me to kick-off a series of brownbag lunches with journalists where anyone that wants to can share lunch and talk about… well, whatever we want.

It’s today, Monday, noon in the Dunn Brothers coffee shop in the lobby of the Downtown Mpls library. Here’s what Jeremy Iggers, my friend and esteemed former Strib colleague, told me about the brownbag part. You can bring your own lunch from home, or you can buy something to eat from Dunn Bros. But they request that you not bring into Dunn Bros. food that you bought from somewhere else.
